The IVC presents its new website which will form the first step to a multifunctional internet platform. The new website is preceded by a new house style. The website is not only visually more appealing, it offers more and more up to date information. News about what the IVC and our laureates are doing, a proud page about all world stars the IVC has helped to create and a renewed environment for our friends and fans.

"An internet platform is better for the public because the website in the classical sense does not exist anymore. You can interact online with organisations through different channels and you can create websites with very advanced functionalities. An internet platform is in my opinion a targeted application to reach out to all the lovers of classical vocal singing. That is the right attitude in 2018."

What more to expect:

> At the beginning of the development of the platform: free membership for all.

> New and historic masterclasses will be dissected and provided with a limited number of hashtags (in different languages). This will enable singers from all over the world to easily access the enormous wealth of knowledge the IVC has collected in 64 years.

> Online masterclasses will be dedicated to subjects which appeal especially to our followers

> Friends of the IVC will get the possibility to immediately be in touch with laureates of the competition – also through our new community manager.

> Cooperation with other competitions (opera, oratorio and song) to keep you informed concerning all the new talents all over the world.

> Question and answer sessions with decision makers of the opera world in order to help young singers.

The IVC offers singers, professionals and the public a wealth of new possibilities. A unique project which has convinced the province of Noord-Brabant and the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch as well. They have generously supported us so everyone can enjoy the IVC to the fullest extent possible.
