Dutch soprano Lenneke Ruiten is highly in demand as a concert singer and opera performer. She can be seen and heard in Aix-en-Provence, La Scala in Milano, DNO in Amsterdam, La Monnaie in Brussels, the Stuttgart opera en in Strasbourg. She has made a name for herself in Mozart but is equally at home in belcanto roles and Bach. After winning the IVC in 2002 she returned to the stage during the 52nd competition in ’s-Hertogenbosch in 2018 for a spectacular rendering of the Mad Scene of Lucia di Lammermoor.
