Thanks to the IVC, ‘s-Hertogenbosch has become well-known as a city for young singers to develop their careers. Without the support of our dedicated Friends, these careers might not have been realised.
Give young singers the support they need — and receive something beautiful in return each year. Most importantly, help the IVC continue building a vibrant artistic future for well-deserving talent.

The IVC Foundation is recognized by the Netherlands Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) as a cultural ANBI. This means donations to the IVC Foundation are tax deductive and the Foundation does not pay an inheritance or ‘gift tax’. You privately funded gift, should you commit to a minimum 5 years of donation, can be deducted at 125% its worth from your income tax. The same remains true for smaller donations.
There are several ways to continue supporting the International Vocal Competition even after your passing.
If you are considering this, you are welcome to contact Ariane Hofman for advice: hofman@www.ivc.nu
The International Vocal Competition ’s-Hertogenbosch Foundation held its first competition in 1954. Since then, the IVC has grown into an internationally renowned vocal competition with local, national, and international appeal, attracting singers from all over the world to ’s-Hertogenbosch.
The IVC organizes an annual competition, masterclasses, and concerts, offering young talent valuable performance opportunities and support for their future careers.
To continue realizing these activities, a solid financial foundation and continuity of funding are essential.
The Friends of the International Vocal Competition Foundation was established in 2008. The Friends play a vital role: thanks to their donations, the Annual IVC Friends Prize is awarded, and new initiatives can be funded.
