The IVC concluded Mozart masterclass and more in December. Under the motto 'The world keeps on singing', eight young singing talents worked for a week with the masters Vesselina Kasarova, Roberta Alexander and Thomas Oliemans. In addition to the masterclasses, the programme also included conversations with professionals and the Presentation Concert. Participants and organisation are grateful that this week could take place for them. Soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek would end the week on 4th December with a live concert. Unfortunately she had to withdraw ill just before the start.

Eva-Maria Westbroek, together with String Quartet philharmonie Zuidnederland and pianist Hans Eijsackers, would perform works by Berlioz and Guridi. However, the soprano had to withdraw unwell at the last minute. As a result, only the 'Streichtriosatz' B-flat major, D471 by Franz Schubert, performed by Adelina Hasani (violin), Evelien de Vries (viola) and Paul Uyterlinde (cello), was broadcast via the live stream. The complete concert program would be recorded and broadcast at a later date in December. However, this is no longer possible, due to the more strict Corona measures in the Netherlands. We are looking into possibilities for recording in 2021.
