Soprano Daniela Köhler, winner of the Grand Prix by the city of 's-Hertogenbosch  in 2010, will sing during the Bayreuther Festspiele of 2020. The festival will stage a new Ring of the Nibelung, directed by the Austrian director Valentin Schwartz and conducted by the Finnish Pietari Inkinen. Daniela Köhler will sing Brünnhilde in Siegfried.

The other Brünnhildes will be sung by Petra Lang and Christine Goerke.
