Summer School on Russian repertoire starts this September

21 August 2015 During the Summer School from 6 through 12 September Russian opera is taking over 's-Hertogenbosch!

From 6 through 12 September Russian opera is taking over ‘s-Hertogenbosch! In collaboration with the Dutch National Opera Talent we organise the Summer School on Russian repertoire at the Theater aan de Parade.

22 participants from 12 countries
Daily public master classes will be followed by 22 young and talented singers and 2 pianists at the Theater aan de Parade. Tickets are available at the theatre and its website. The participants travel from all over the world to join the Summer School. We will welcome singers and pianists from countries such as Russia, Argentina, South Korea and Belgium. You will probably know 2 participants already from previous IVC competitions and concerts. The soprano's and sisters Elnara and Gulnara Shafigullina.

World-famous masters and coaches
The masters of the Summer School are world-famous singers from Russia, such as baritone Sergei Leiferkus and mezzo-soprano Larissa Diadkova. Diadkova will perform later this season in The Queen of Spades (as the Countess) at the National Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam. During the Summer School particular attention will be paid to the operatic works of Modest Mussorgsky, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Ticket sales
Attend the public master classes between 6 and 10 September at the Theater aan de Parade. A ticket costs only € 10,- (€ 5,- with discount). Tickets are on sale at the theatre. Please join us as well at the presentation concerts on 11 September at 's-Hertogenbosch and 12 September in Amsterdam. A ticket for the presentation concert costs € 15,- (€ 7,50 with discount).
