Review of the 2nd Summer School day

07 September 2015 Private coachings, public master classes and lots of fun in the Theater aan de Parade during the 2nd schoolday

After a very busy 1st day of the Summer School on Russian repertoire, the participants and masters were back on Sunday morning for more. In several rooms of the Theater aan de Parade groups were having private coachings by the masters. The students were listening very carefully to each other and their masters. And, of course, they sang a lot. From Tchaikovsky to Rachmaninov.

"The Summer School is both great and exciting"
Baritone Joris Grouwels from Belgium: “I had to take leave from my study to be able to join the Summer School on Russian repertoire. Luckily, my teachers at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm said to me that I had to participate. This is such a big chance. The level of the Summer School is very high. Not so strange with masters like Sergei Leiferkus. I have seen him performing this summer in Brussels. It was very impressive. And I just heard some other participants singing which made me a bit nervous! The Summer School is both great and exciting.”
