Newsletter August: 50th IVC edition and more

This Saturday 30 August, before we start the 50th IVC edition, we organize 'De Stem van Bosch' together with the Jheronimus Bosch 500 foundation. We have invited over 40 amateur opera and musical singers to learn tips and tricks from professionals such as the famous Dutch opera singer Ernst Daniël Smid. Have you seen our contest to win a lunch at the Golden Tulip Hotel Central, two tickets for the Concours at Theater aan de Parade and a goodiebag from newspaper Brabants Dagblad? More about it in this newsletter. And last but not least we introduce you to the members of the 50th IVC jury and the participants.

De Stem van Bosch
You are very welcome this Saturday 30 August at Theater aan de Parade to listen to a variety of voices. Together with the Jheronimus Bosch 500 foundation we have invited over 60 amateur opera and musical singers to learn tips and tricks from professionals such as the famous Dutch opera singer Ernst Daniël Smid (photo). Walk around and take a peek in every room and learn something about singing yourself. Tickets are only € 5,-

Contest: win a lunch + IVC tickets + goodiebag
This year we celebrate the 50th International Vocal Competition and therefore we would like to give you something extra! Together with Golden Tulip Hotel Central and newspaper Brabants Dagblad we throw a contest. Winners enjoy a delicious lunch for two, tickets for one day of the exciting Competition at the Theater aan de Parade and get a design goodiebag filled with nice presents. Anniversary: 50th International Vocal Competition
In 1954 the International Vocal Competition was founded in 's-Hertogenbosch. This year, the 50th IVC will take place from 4 through 14 September. Be sure not to miss a thing! We sell day tickets online and at the Theater aan de Parade. We also have a limited amount of Royal tickets available. A special passe-partout for our biggest fans!

World famous members of the IVC jury
Meet the jury members of the 50th IVC. We are very proud to present our members such as soprano Dame Kiri Te Kanawa (photo), Jesús Iglesias Noriega (head artistic affairs Dutch National Opera) and pianist Irwin Gage. Both jurys (Opera | Oratorio & Lied Duo) are a mix of singers, pianists and representatives of the opera and concert scene.
