Bernard Haitink receives first cd from Edwin Rutten

25 September 2013 Bernard Haitink receives the first cd from Edwin Rutten, before the official release at the Wagner Academy.

De Nederlandse Opera presented its own Ringetje last season; Edwin Rutten has reduced the tale of the Ring to 2 CDs for, in his own words, ‘children and other grown-ups’, using his own narration and music examples from the EMI recording conducted by worldfamous Bernard Haitink.

During the Wagner Academy, on Wednesday 25 September 2013, Edwin has handed over the first CD to Bernard Haitink in the Hilton Hotel Amsterdam. A very special moment! The official release took place at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam on thesame day in the afternoon.
