Linda Joan Berg

Is a duo with pianist Camille Lemonnier

Soprano Linda Joan Berg began her studies with Prof. Jörn Döpfer at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater in 2009 and earned her Master of Music with best scores in the summer of 2015. She also completed the First State Exam for Music Education. In 2014 she was honored by Krista and Rüdiger Warnke with the prestigious "Fellowship for Students of the Hamburg University of Music and Theater". She continues to participate in master classes with, among others, Francisco Araiza, Olaf Bär, Margreet Honig, Karl Kammerlander, Edda Moser, Sibylla Rubens and Peter Schreier.

Alongside her studies, she has particularly dedicated herself to the fields of oratorio and lied. For example, Haydn (Die Schöpfung), Mozart (Requiem), Bach (Johannespassion) and Schubert (Hirt auf dem Felsen). Among the many operatic and operetta roles she has performed are Papagena, Belinda, Zaide, Hannchen and Pepi. She was recently heard as a soloist with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.
