Erica Back is a mezzo-soprano from Finland, praised for her “round, beautifully shining and effortlessly projecting voice” (Helsingin Sanomat) and "musically confident and very skillful way of expressing emotions" (Hufvudstadsbladet) in opera performances, lied recitals and oratorios as well as in competitions.

Erica is an active performer of lied and oratorio. She has performed the alto part in Mozart’s Requiem, Rossini’s Messe Solennelle, Bach’s Christmas oratorio, Händel’s Dixit Dominus and Respighi’s Lauda per la Natività del Signore. In spring 2016, she has performed her first St. Matthew Passion by Bach. Erica was already a participant of several national and international competitions. For example, in 2014, she was awarded a shared first prize in the Kangasniemi Singing Competition in Finland. She also won the second prize and a special lied recital prize at the 2015 International Sibelius Singing Competition in Järvenpää.
